I think that a player Ichiro is a symbol
of Japanese dream in baseball.
In Japanese pro baseball his first annual salary is 4.3 million yen in
1992, and his final annual salary is 530.0 million yen in 2000. He got
123 times first annual salary 8 years later. It's great because an usual
businessman may need many past years for getting 2 times first salary.
It is a great worth that he got it with his ability.
I seem that he was sparked his power after changing player's name to Ichiro
from Suzuki, so I guess one of the successful reason is that he had a
good relationship with Ohgi manager in Orix Blue Wave.
And I show his annual salary and Batting Average by each year below. He
achieved near .400 in 3th years, and he has been a hits leader through
7 years since then, and in 2000 he achieved .400 at 7 games in the season.
So he will become a first Japanese position major leaguer.
I wish to expect he becomes a super player not only in Japan, but also
in the major league ( in the world).
